Ruhestein Schanke in Baiersbronn

2021 Here they actually complained about the collected parking fee of € 5! This criticism and negative evaluation is unbelievable and yet knocks the bottom out of the barrel! In order to enable nature lovers to park at all, the parking lot was cleared of snow and decent parking was made possible, although the bar and elevator are unfortunately closed due to the corona lockdown. That costs time and fuel! Hats off and a big thank you to the owner of the parking lot for making parking possible at all at these times! The € 5 parking fee is completely justified! We are really looking forward to when the Ruhesteinschänke can finally open again and we can hardly wait to enjoy nature and to strengthen ourselves with delicious food and super nice service 😊 Hold on! With all my heart, 5 stars and even more for this great parking lot service in particularly difficult times! 2019 Whether summer or winter, in snow, rain or shine: The staff is always very friendly, The food was delicious, in summer the salads were very nice! Whether after skiing or hiking, Here in the Ruhesteinschänke we always like to come back! Thank you for the top service! Keep it up! Until next time :)

cozy stop after a hike in the Ruhestein area with the adjoining ski hut ... unfortunately the owner has recently discovered a new source of income and declared the public car park a fee-paying car park for decades ... 5 EUR flat-rate regardless of the parking time are to be paid to the innkeeper. ..well ...

Best place in town. We go hiking in the region more often and regularly stop at the restaurant there after the hike. The vegetable stew👍 is highly recommended

Nice place for a rest. There is sufficient seating and storage space for bicycles. There is a large parking lot nearby, but this is often full when the weather is nice. The food, especially the sausage salad, was delicious. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately the used tables were not cleaned. First we removed the leftovers from our table.

Nice location. Good view from the beer garden. Great food. Were completely satisfied after a 5 hour hike.

Local at the ski lift. Self-service on the terrace. Food ok and different dishes to choose from.

Excellent schnitzel, good prices, only thing they could improve is make the soft drinks bigger

After a long walk you can enjoy delicious food and drinks here. In winter you can also go cross-country skiing and skiing here. Prices are also affordable.

Surprisingly good food. Unexpectedly kind staff. You can have a quick and nice bite of lunch here.

After an extensive hiking day we settled down here for a short time. We were served very nicely and everything went so smoothly. We will stay there again next time and work a bit more extensively through the map.
